The purpose of this paper is to study the support of governmental organizations for the future continuation of the Chinese New Year festival among Chinese Thai Youth in Hat Yai. Qualitative research is used with the phenomenological approach in conducting the study. 15 key informants were selected from purposive selection, and they were interviewed in a semi-structured format. Then, the interview data were analyzed with content analysis for interpretation, categorization, and summary. The result found that governmental organizations in Hat Yai currently support the policy, budget, operational plan, and coordination. However, this study discovered new issues in supporting the future continuation of the Chinese New Year festival, for instance, knowledge transfer, cultural souvenir production, quiz game, digital painting, and platforms for expressing opinions.
