This research purposed to study the Su-ngai Kolok social change context, and study acculturation for art and cultural identity preservation of Chinese Thai in the context of Su-ngai Kolok social change. This research approached phenomenological paradigm, using qualitative research method with the data collection from document and fieldwork records, additionally observation and in-depth interview. Key informants were 15 Chinese Thai whose hometowns have been in Su-ngai Kolok for at least 10 years, 2 governmental officials in Su-ngai Kolok, 5 local merchants, and 5 Chinese Thai youth in Su-ngai Kolok, a totally of 30 key informants. The result found 3 dimensions of art and cultural acculturation of Chinese Thai in the context of Su-ngai Kolok social change. 1) Economic dimension, there was the encouragement of using Chinese language for business instead of communication in the family. 2) Social dimension, there were the change of original faith on holy objects becoming cultural commodity; additionally, the change of ritual practice through the online platform, and the deduction of ritual procedure as well as quantity of offerings depending on family structure. 3) Cultural dimension, soldiers were guarded in the area of Chinese traditional event, besides vigilance providers for orderliness, and the installation of luggage safety checkpoint. This acculturation was corresponding to an unrest situation in the area affecting the economy, society, and family structure of Chinese Thai in the Su-ngai Kolok area.
